Terms of Service for Supportive Learning Group

Introduction
Welcome to the Supportive Learning Group (SLG). By accessing our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Our commitment is to provide high-quality advocacy and educational support services tailored to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities.

Services Offered
SLG provides a comprehensive solution designed to overcome barriers to accommodations and support for students with learning disabilities. This includes coordinated assessments, streamlined accommodation processes, investigative support, and advocacy.

Ethical Practices
SLG is committed to honestly representing the interests of our students to entities within the education space. Our partners abide by the ethical guidelines set forth by their profession. SLG’s partners reserve the right to employ the use of malingering detection tools.

Outcome Guarantees
SLG endeavors to dutifully represent the interests of our clients. We cannot guarantee favorable outcomes. In cases where a psychoeducational evaluation does not yield a diagnosis of a learning disorder, SLG will refund a portion of our fees that were not related to the provisioning of the psychoeducational evaluation.

Psychological Diagnoses Services

  • Scope: SLG does not provide psychological diagnoses or behavioral health services directly. We understand the importance of these services and have established partnerships with licensed psychologists for this purpose.
  • Licensed Psychologist Services: For clients requiring psychological diagnoses, we coordinate with contracted licensed psychologists who are independent practitioners possessing the necessary credentials and licensure.
  • Confidentiality: All services provided by our contracted psychologists are confidential and adhere to the highest professional standards. Sharing any diagnostic information with SLG requires explicit consent from the client or their legal guardian.

Financial Terms

  • Psychologist’s Rates: The licensed psychologists are independent contractors with their own service rates, which are not determined by SLG. Any fees for psychological diagnosis services will be detailed in the invoice provided to the client.
  • Consent for Charges: Any deviation from initial estimates will be communicated, and consent will be obtained from the client before proceeding.
Medical Director Compliance

In accordance with New Jersey regulations, SLG is committed to ensuring the highest standards of healthcare service provision within a regulated framework. To meet these requirements, we have appointed Dr. Adam Nassery as our Supervising Director. Dr. Nassery, licensed in the State of New Jersey, oversees the verification of licensure, credentialing, and quality control of psychological services offered through our organization.
